Strategic Framework for the Local Integration of Former Refugees in Zambia
This Strategic Framework has been designed to assist the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) advance durable solutions for former refugees still in the country who seek to locally integrate. It outlines priority requirements and actions, as well as specifies the responsibilities and resources required to implement the GRZ’s pledge to integrate some 10,000 former Angolan refugees as well as possibly approximately 4,000 former Rwandan refugees in a manner that promotes legal status and socio-economic empowerment.
